Privacy Policy
Myelin Engine provides anonymous workplace feedback workflows for Slack workspaces. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data Collection
We collect only the data needed to provide the service:
- Slack user_id and team_id.
- The text content of submitted feedback ("vents").
- Workspace configuration and subscription metadata.
We do not collect passwords, and we do not collect private messages outside the Slack app scopes granted to Myelin Engine.
2. Data Usage
We use collected data to:
- Process feedback text for sentiment analysis and topic tagging.
- Route relevant insights to authorized leadership users in the same workspace.
- Operate app features such as health monitoring, billing, and support workflows.
3. Data Retention
Feedback text is purged from our database after 30 days. Aggregated and anonymized statistics may be retained for dashboard insights and trend reporting.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell user data.
Data is shared only with service providers needed to run Myelin Engine:
- Stripe for subscription billing.
- DigitalOcean for infrastructure hosting.
5. User Rights
Users and workspace admins may request data access or deletion for GDPR/CCPA compliance by contacting support@myelin-engine.me.
